1. Causes of jaw plate wear
1. The contact between the jaw plate and the machine surface is not stable;
2. The eccentric shaft rotates too fast, and the crushed materials cannot be removed in time, resulting in blockage of the crushing chamber and wear of the jaw plate;
3. The material properties have changed, but the crusher has not been adjusted in time;
4. The angle between the movable jaw plate and the fixed jaw plate is too large, exceeding the normal range;
5. The self-strength, wear resistance and impact resistance of the jaw plate are not good.
2. Solution
1. When installing the jaw plate, it must be installed and fixed tightly so that it can contact the surface of the machine smoothly;
2. A layer of material with good plasticity can be placed between the jaw plate and the surface of the machine;
3. Each batch of materials entering the crusher must be sampled. Once the properties of the materials are found to have changed significantly, the parameters of the crusher must be changed in time to match the incoming materials;
4. The jaw plate must be made of materials with high hardness, wear resistance and strong impact resistance. High manganese steel is commonly used;
5. Cement companies with ore crushing production line technology can interchange the same type of worn jaw plates for coarse crushing of mines and fine crushing of cement. The worn jaw plates can be repaired by surfacing welding.
3. Suggestions for increasing the service life of the jaw plate
1. Choose a reasonably designed jaw plate
Reasonable structural design helps to increase the service life of the jaw plate. For small and medium-sized jaw crushers, the jaw plate can be designed to be symmetrical up and down, so that it can be turned around when the lower part is severely worn. For large jaw crushers, the jaw plates can be designed to be symmetrical, so that the wear blocks can be easily replaced.
2. Correct assembly of the jaw plate
When assembling the jaw plate, the jaw plate needs to be firmly fixed on the movable jaw and the fixed jaw, and copper, lead, zinc, etc. are used to keep the movable and fixed jaw plates at the same parallelism. This is to avoid relative sliding between the jaw plate and the movable and fixed jaws during the operation of the jaw crusher, causing wear or breakage.
3. Precautions for actual operation
(1) When the mounting bolts of the jaw plate loosen due to vibration, causing the jaw plate to wear, even fall off or break, it is necessary to conduct a specific analysis of the causes of loosening and falling off during the operation of the crushing plate. It is unscientific to simply tighten the fastening bolts of the jaw plate before starting the machine.
(2) Add springs to the fixing bolts to improve the anti-loosening and vibration reduction capabilities of the jaw plate fixing bolts, extend the service life of the jaw plate, and improve the production efficiency and economic benefits of the crusher.
